For testing I used the following:
I tested with a variety of games and benchmarks using both the PCIe 6800GT and the Intel GMA 900 onboard graphics solution. Some of the tests were not graphics intensive to ascertain how much of a performance hit the system takes when using the onboard GPU. Finally I carried out a little overclocking, with the system stretched to its limits with the sound at an acceptable level.
The BIOS offered a variety of optimisation options, with adjustments for RAM timings and FSB. Also available were CPU, Memory and Northbridge Voltage settings and importantly the presence of PCIe Frequency Lock. This gave me the opportunity to play around a bit, strangely enough though the best clock was acheived by simply upping the FSB.
